random post!

First of all i just want to say that this has been the craziest week of our lives! We have celebrated and mourned and celebrated some more. what i am about to share is a little personal but bear with me! last wednesday we discovered that we were PREGNANT!!!! talk about exciting we have been trying for almost 3 years we were so stoked!!!! 3 days later i miscarried. it was so devestating the worst feeling in the world. but all the while our family and friends were there for us so understanding and loving it was amazing. My husband is the most amazing man i know he is so strong and does so much for us. I often think people dont realize how truly amazing he is! So really quick i wanted to share 24 facts that I absolutly love and adore about my husband.

24 facts about Mr. Travis William Read

1- He loves Mexican food any kind ,any way as long as it is spicy!
2- He loves cars and fixing them
3- he loves fixing things he will wander around to find things to fix..... and he is good at it.
4- he has the longest legs ever its really hard to buy him jeans
5- he loves Transformers, Speed Racer and teenage mutant ninja turtles (old school of course)
6- he loves the fast and the furious all of them
7- he grew up in pocatello his entire life and graduated from Century High School
8- he loves motor sports... 4 wheelers, motor bikes and go carts
9- he once crashed into a mission car while driving a go cart....
10- he served a mission to Hartford CT
11- he adores me and does his best to make sure we have everything we need
12- he loves slushies of any kind but especially Blue Raspberry
13- he loves boating and camping
14- he is the hardest worker I know
15- he hates shopping but is always willing to go with me and be my shopping buddy
16- he is not afraid to meet new people and introduce himself
17- he secretly wants to go to work for my dad on the Ranch
18- he loves my family and accepts all of our craziness
19- he loves kids especially his nephews and our "adopted" nephew ands cant wait to be a daddy
20- he wants us to have a little girl first so she can be a daddy's girl
21- he is very neat
22- he honors his priesthood and loves the gospel
23- he is not a huge fan of ice cream but his favorite is Maple Nut from Rich's Dairy in CT.
24- He is the most amazing man i know and i am so glad I met him and that he chose me he is my best friend and i dont know what i would do without him!!!!

valentine weekend

Well it all stated Friday night. We decided to go stay in a hotel for valentine's day. We finally found a hotel and packed our bags. By this time it was already after 7p.m. we got to I.F. Got some dinner and by the time we Finally settled down it was 11 some thing. The next day we got up at about 10:30. We went to a couple of stores and we end up at toys r us. We went in and a while later exited to find we had a flat tire. Well I got in the back of the car to find the only tool I had was the jack, no handle, no wrench. I thought that OK my sister lives here. I call her she said I am with mom and dad at Walgreen's. I thought she was in pocatello but she then said there up here. {We left my parents to take care of our to dogs.} So anyway they came to us and we finally got the tire of so we could get it fixed. Their just happened to be a tire store just down the street. I went they took the tire came back said bad side wall got to buy new tire. guy looked it up said 208.00. I said I'll go check walmart. Got to walmart to find out they only wanted 150.00. However my dad and I thought we had figured out a way to get the spare down so I bought the tools to get it down went back to the car to find out it would not work. so back to walmart to buy a tire. Walmart said 15 20 minutes. Well the wife and I decided to take my mom's car back so they could get going. Emilly's sister would there shortly so she could take ys to get the tire. Emmily's sister showed up an hour later. Finally all was good we went to the mall and then to dinner.
